David M. Peña-Guzmán

Hecht-Levi Fellow

David M. Peña-Guzmán was a Hecht-Levi fellow at the Berman Institute of Bioethics. His research addresses key questions in animal ethics, the philosophy of science, and feminist bioethics. He has published on a variety of philosophical fields, including twentieth century European philosophy, the philosophy of law, and feminist theory. David received his PhD in philosophy from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2015. He recently completed a predoctoral Andrew Mellon Foundation Fellowship in New Orleans, LA, as well as a postdoctoral research fellowship in the philosophy of biology at Laurentian University in Ontario, Canada.
