Welcome to Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics

The Program in Ethics and Brain Sciences (PEBS) is a collaborative effort of the  Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics and the  Johns Hopkins Brain Sciences Institute . The goal of PEBS is to ensure that research in brain science proceeds with an informed understanding of ethical issues, and that philosophical and empirical analyses of the advances in brain research proceeds with an informed understanding of the science. With thePEBS News Roundup, we will present abi-weekly survey of the most pertinent and thought-provoking new articles from both peer-reviewed academic journals and the popular press.   While the PEBS News Roundup has been distributed internally for over 4 years, this is the first issue in our new format which we are making available to a broader audience.  Please note : if this email will not be helpful to you, there is a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom.  If you know anyone else who may be interested in receiving this email please contact us and we will add them to our mailing list.  Thank you!
