Conflict of Interest
Recent Projects
The Conflict of Interest Notification Study (COINS) is a five-year project supported by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health which was designed to examine the disclosure of conflicts of research and ultimately provide a framework for policy-making and establishing best practices for disclosing conflicts of interest in clinical research. Numerous publications have resulted from the research. Jeremy Sugarman is the principal investigator of the grant which has collaborators at Duke University and Wake Forest University.
